Blue Ocean Thoughts
OUR MISSION
To reconnect the drilling industry with nature.
At Blue Ocean Thoughts, we bridge the worlds of offshore energy and tropical marine ecosystems.
As a tropical seagrass scientist and deepwater offshore subsea engineer, I’ve spent my career working offshore and studying the delicate balance of seagrass, coral, and mangrove ecosystems throughout the tropics. My mission is to promote an offshore industry that respects and nurtures the environment, showcasing how safe, efficient energy practices can coexist with nature.
Beyond the technical aspects, Blue Ocean Thoughts is dedicated to education in all things offshore oil industry—enlightening the public about this often misunderstood field. Through clear, engaging content, we aim to inspire transparency, safety, and innovation in the drilling industry, all while educating the public on the critical importance of sustainable practices that protect the world’s oceans.*
